THE MIRACULOUS STORY OF THE SONGS…
I want to give full glory to the Lord for the songs He has placed in my heart.
I feel they are a sign and a wonder from the Lord, to increase our faith, and to fan the flame of His Spirit in the hearts of His children. On a Sunday evening in April 2007, I was given a very special blessing by Pastor Rick Rannie and told that God wanted me to “write down His Words into songs”. I had never written a song before, not even really sung a solo before. In my extended family, I was “the least of these” musically.
The songs began coming that very week, and have continued coming since the initial anointing in 2007. He brings the words first, and then gives me the melodies one note at a time. He has provided a melody for every single song I have written. Each month since April 2007, the Lord has brought enough songs to overflow a CD. As of 2020, there are enough songs to fill four hymnals. They just flow out of me. I think of myself as a Secret Chamber Singer, contentedly ministering to the King.
My husband, Orie, plays the accompaniment on the CD’s and operates the sound equipment. I am very grateful to him for his time and investment in this ministry.
I sing comfort and encouragement to the body of Christ. It is my desire that people pray the songs, make the proclamations of faith that I sing, and let the Scriptures wash over them. May those who listen find their spirits lifted, and worship our magnificent God!
